Village Girl
Village Girl is a celebration of joy and simplicity. The woman in the painting looks to the side with a mischievous smile, her arms cradling a chicken—a playful nod to our connection to the land. On her head is an elaborate Eastern European headdress, filled with onion domes, fields, gardens, and winding mountain roads, each detail a tribute to the rich heritage that shaped me.
This piece radiates lightness and contentment, capturing the beauty of someone who already has everything she needs. It’s a reminder to find happiness in the simple, enduring connections to our roots and the world around us.
Original Painting - SOLD.
